we GOT MArried five years ago SO
Now we are hosting a pentathlon*
…And a party. Counting from wedding #1, 2025 makes five years of marriage. Because we like complexity (have we met?), a few months after opening La Cigale, we will host our first quinquennial anniversary pentathlon scavenger hunt, to celebrate the last five years, and to force you to hang out with us.
*No, it’s not sports.
Sorry, what?
WHAT
Scavenger hunt. Party. Shenanigans. Food, drink, possibly a hot tub - more detail below.
WHERE
Scampering across San Francisco, culminating at La Cigale.
WHEN
September 27. Scavenger hunting is daylight hours; gathering at La Cigale starts at 6PM.
WHY
Why not? But also we are hoping that this is a reason to compel farther-flung friends to join us. 👀

Then, A party.
Following the crowning (high fiving) of the winner, we’ll hang out until the wee hours at (a closed just-for-us) La Cigale to have dinner, make merry, and enjoy the long-awaited return of DJ Joe. If you’re lucky he might even grill something for you. The party may or may not roll over to Glen Park Station for afters. When we start blasting Sleep, it’s time for bed.
Us, at the party.
